Das Ostrovit Echinacea erfreut sich besonders in der Erkältungszeit einer großen Beliebtheit. Die auch als Sonnenhüte bekannte Pflanze wird seit über 1000 Jahren von den Ureinwohnern Nordamerikas als Heilpflanze verwendet. Enthalten sind in den Ostrovit Kapseln zwei Arten von Echinacea Extrakt, die auf einen hohen Gehalt an Polyphenolen und Cichoriensäure standardisiert sind. Sie sind auch bekannt als Lila Sonnenhut und Purpur-Sonnenhut.
